- Brace yourself: another snow storm is in the forecast for the tristate region. A snow and ice event is expected to begin with snow showers late Wednesday night and not end until Thursday afternoon. A Winter Storm Watch has been posted for the entire area from late Wednesday night into Thursday. New York City is expected to get 4-8 inches of snow.
