Pregnant woman killed after being struck by snowplow vehicle in Brooklyn; baby survives after emergency Caesarean section
A pregnant woman was struck and killed by a private snowplow at a Brooklyn parking lot Thursday, but doctors were able to deliver her baby, officials said.
Paramedics rushed 36-year-old woman, Min Lin, who was about eight-months pregnant, to Maimonides Medical Center in cardiac arrest at 10:45 a.m. after a Bobcat vehicle backed into her at the Fei Long Market lot in Sunset Park.
