Movie legend Shirley Temple died last night at the age 85.
The former child actress retired more than six decades prior to her passing, but she's still remembered for her red hair, her dimples, her signature drink - and for one song in particular.
Temple first sang "On the Good Ship Lollipop" in 1934's Bright Eyes, belting out the track in a scene she reportedly choreographed herself.
The number has been referenced and duplicated many times since (from The Brady Bunch to The Simpsons) and we can think of no better way to salute the late star than to run her original here:
